From Coupe de Villes to the Super Bowl

Are you amazed as I am that the Giants are in the Super Bowl? To go on the road and defeat the NFC South champion at home, the #1 seed at home, and the #2 seed at Lambeau field in back-to-back-to-back weeks is pretty darn impressive. Especially when your quarterback is this guy.

The story behind the story here, though, is the play of Ahmad Bradshaw (left), who--along with Brandon Jacobs--is finally fulfilling the "Thunder and Lightning" promise of Tiki Barber and Ron Dayne. Bradshaw was once a UVA recruit and actually made it to Grounds--before getting kicked off the team by Al Groh before he ever played a down.

The kicker, though is what caused him to get booted--he was caught from behind while fleeing Charlottesville city police. Ahmad Bradshaw: the Charlottesville cops can catch him, but the Packers defense can't! (Well, at least not without a little help from the refs.)

Great post, Thomas. Love the story about Bradshaw. Have you seen the pics of Kyle Orton (Bears-QB) drinking? They're amazing!

Solid, Thomas. I like it. Where did that Eli picture come from? I think I've seen it before.
